Argumentive Essay

 Most of teenagers are interested in fashion code. I am, too. If I wear my favorite clothes and go out , I'll very satisfied with my look. I'm sure many students want to wear their own clothes. Although we want to wear our favorite clothes, when we go to school, we have to wear school uniforms. Why do we have to do like that? Private clothes are better than school uniforms for students. Here are some reasons.

  First, we can express our individuality of each person. Let's notice the way of attending  school. What do you think of this? All students are wearing same clothes. It is certainly school uniforms. Teenagers are very creative and curious. So we want to wear as we pleases. But many schools ignore our individuality and freedom. Some people said school uniforms make students are proud of
their school. However, most of students aren't proud of their school uniforms. Because they don't think their school is great. We always want to seek novelty.

 Secondly, private clothes make us cut down on expenses. Actually, school uniforms are too expensive. Poor people who don't have enough money to buy school uniforms can be very huge burden. And If we use our school uniforms maximally, we just can use for 3 years. It is very inefficient. But if we wear our private clothes, we don't have to buy expensive uniforms. Most of school uniforms are being made, but they are not convenient.

 But some people said "Students have to wear school uniforms." Why? Because of these things.
 First, let's think about the word of  'school'. Students go to school, study everyday, keep school's rules, and play with friends. School gives us many things, and we live in school safely. Because we are students. Then, what is the duty of students? Our duties are to act like a student. If we wear school uniforms, we will make efforts to stop any acts that goes against student's right. But if we don't, we will neglect our duties as a students.

 What is second reason? The key word is 'complex'. If we wear private clothes, someone can feel a sense of inferiority. Because students clothes can be changed as their parents' wealth. Someone who has rich parents will buy expensive and beautiful clothes. However, someone who has poor parents will not able to buy clothes like others'.

 Anyway, I talked about school uniforms and private clothes. I'm a student, too, so I know about student's clothing. Private clothes make us confident and happy Some people said if we use private clothes, we will not follow school's rules. But it is much better to make us free than interrupt us uncontional. I hope many people understand these opinions.

short story_ drabble

"Wow " Jennifer shouted."Look at that. Snow  is coming."  Her heart was throbbing with expectation. Mrs. Angela set her hand on her daughter's shoulder and said "It is beautiful. Jennifer, do you wanna go out?" Jennifer's face became much brighter. She nodded to her mom. "Let's go out. But it is cold. You have to wear many clothes." "Yeah, mother!" Mrs. Angela was very pleased at her daughter's response. She helped her daughter wear her clothes and pulled her daughter's wheelchair lightly. "Mom, all things are covered with snow. I wanna lie down on the snow. It makes me comfortable...."

COMPARE&CONTRAST ESSAY [BRAVE]

 I saw a movie last Friday. The title is {BRAVE}. Before I watched it, my friend who saw it before told me this movie is boring and childish. I agree with the movie being made for children, but I can't agree that the movie is boring. I think it's very interesting and gives us some lessons. I'll describe these lessons at the end of this essay. The heroine of {BRAVE} name is Merida. Now, I'll compare and contrast Merida & me.


 First, there is a big personality difference between Merida and me. Many people think personality is inborn.That is partly true. However, most of someone's personality is decided by acquired elements. Merida grew freely and lived in nature, so she didn't like acting as a princess. She doesn't have any desire to be rich or famous. To the contrary, I have lived in a normal city, and I want to be rich and famous. If I'm a princess, I would hear my mother's advise and make an effort become a real princess.



 Second, I think Merida and I use similar methods to solve problems. I can't stand anything I don't want. It looks selfish, but it motivates me. If I have some problems that I want to change, I'll do everything in order to change them. Similarly, Merida made her mother eat a strange cake! She didn't know the cake had a strange power, but she was trying and giving everything to solve a problem.


The final, difference between Merida and me is BRAVERY! If Merida didn't have BRAVERY, she couldn't do anything! Because of her thoughtlessness, she experienced many problems. However, because of BRAVERY, she could find the witch's house; because of BRAVERY, she could make a cake; because of BRAVERY, she could rescue her mother from danger; because of BRAVERY, she could change her fate. If I was put in a situation as Merida's, I would be disappointed  and give up.


 The movie was really fun and interesting. So I was a little ashamed. Why? Because it was made for children. Still, this movie gave us some lessons. What lessons? It is a conviction of myself.  GOAL 1: BECAME BETTER ENGLISH

        step 1: Use English everywhere(maybe except dormitory :D)

 GOAL 2: LEARN THE DANCE MOVES OF ONE SONG

        step 1: Learn to dance at CA time

 GOAL 3: READ 1 SCIENCE BOOK DURING CAMP

        step 1: Read more than 5 pages every day

        step 2: Do not wait until late at night to read

Self-Introduction

 Hi! My name is Choi Young San. I live in Wonju. Members of my family are 7: Parents, grandmother, one older brother, two porcupines and me. The porcupines are really cute. I want to post their pictures.

 I learned to play the piano for 8 years, however, now I stopped learning it, because of studying. Therefore, I want to learn other instruments, but I can't.
